Williamson County Parks and Recreation Center at Nolensville

Description: The project consists of the repurposing of an old Williamson County school for use as a recreation center. The renovation consisted of approximately 36,000 square feet and included structural modifications as well as completely new HVAC systems with rooftop equipment. The project also consists of the addition of a 1,600-square foot entry area and 2,100-square foot pool building.

Structural System: Concrete masonry unit (CMU) bearing walls with steel bar joists and light gauge metal truss roof structure. Lateral load resistance is provided by ordinary masonry shear walls.
